As far as electronics, the JEM 77 PBFP is equipped with two DiMarzio Gravity Storm humbuckers (designed by Steve Vai) in the neck and bridge slots and an Evolution single-coil in the middle. The Gravity Storm pickups are voiced for richness and depth, with exceptionally warm mids and highs. Both will let your tone easily cut through even the densest mix while maintaining a pleasing fatness.
